Inspiration to movies such as the blair wich project and the last broadcast, this has to be one of the sickest movies ever made. it is impossible to buy this movie uncut in many countries due to the brutality and eroticised rape scene and the real life butchering of animals (such as the complete ripping up of a tortoise and the splitting of a monkeys head). the movie managed to have 5 minutes of it taken out for an UK release, which takes out these scenes.
The story is of a group of four people who go into the green inferno (the amazon) in search of a tribe of cannibals that live in the area in a bid to video them and make their riches.
Once they get there, things go wrong.
Months later the a search is sent out for them, and what they uncover is a set of video reels which shows the demise of the group.
